About Natures Corner
Sisters Liz Chandler and Caroline Withers opened Newbury's only independent health food store, Natures Corner, in October 1999.
The store is located within Newbury town centre, and provides an impressive range of supplements and natural products. Upstairs is a therapy room which offers a range of treatments to our customers by fully trained and insured practitioners.
Liz became her own boss after five years as manager of the nearby (and now closed) Health & Diet Centre. While there, she gathered many qualifications including a Distinction from the NAHS for her Diploma; the Bioforce Phytotherapy course; a Quest Product Advisor Certificate and similar Product Advisor training from Kordell's and Natures Answer.
Looking around Newbury, Liz felt there was a call for an independent shop with a wide range of products and plenty of good advice. To whom else would she turn as a potential business partner but her sister.
Caroline sadly past away in July 2010 after a brave battle with cancer. Caroline was passionate about the business and will forever remain a huge part of Natures Corner.
